This fun project had a rather successful run at The Greenway Court Theatre in West Hollywood and was directed by Rick Sparks.
I created the props, sfx props, puppets and sfx costumes for the show.
Below is a shot of the cast onstage doing "I've Got Six". Hard to see, but central to the action is a basket of 30 "baby chicks" that all hatch out in a dancing, swirling heap then return to the basket for safe keeping. (Closeup photo forthcoming). Along the right side of the photo is a loooong yellow device that is actually an oversized yellow power cord that plugs into the wall and runs along the front edge of the stage. This was used in "Electricity".
Above is one of the 30 little chicks that all appear out of the basket during the song going on at left.
One of my favorite elements of this show was the "I'm Just A Bill" number. It started out with Bill represented by a 14" puppet with rod-controlled arms and then became a life-sized puppet/costume on one of the actors. Below are pics of both the small puppet and the lifesized outfit.

The photo above at left is of the lifesize Bill puppet/costume pictured next to a real life person for size reference before his face and finishing elements were applied. At right is the finished puppet.
Below is the Taxman with 3 showgirls representing Property Tax, Income Tax and Sales Tax. Their headwear is built from 3/4" closed cell L-200 foam and skinned in sequined fabric.
